Intelligent Particles
“In some strange way an electron or a photon [or any other elementary particle] seems to ‘know’ about changes in the environment and appears to respond accordingly,” says physicist Danah Zohar.
A group at the Weizmann Institute in Israel has done a variation of the famous “double-slit” experiment. They used electrons, instead of photons, and observed how the resultant interference pattern (which indicates wave-like properties of the particle) dissipated the longer you watched the electrons go through the slits. As a wave the electron passes through both slits simultaneously but if, according to E Buks, it “senses” that it is being watched, the electron (as a particle) goes through only one path, diminishing the interference pattern. Elementary particles (such as photons and electrons) appear to possess a certain degree of “intelligence” and awareness of the environment. Renowned plasma and particle physicist, David Bohm, says “In some sense a rudimentary mind-like quality is present even at the level of particle physics. As we go to subtler levels this mind-like quality becomes stronger and more developed.”
Consciousness appears to be as fundamental a property to elementary particles as properties that make it “matter” or a “physical force” (for example, mass, spin and charge). And just as mass, spin and charge differ from one particle to another; it is probable that different particles have different degrees of consciousness.
Conditions for Manifesting Consciousness
Bohm says that “a particle has a rich and complex inner structure which can respond to information and direct it’s self-motion accordingly”. This is more evident in more massive particles and condensates which behave as super particles. Zohar says there is no reason to deny that any structure – biological or otherwise, that contained a (Bose-Einstein) condensate might possess the capacity for consciousness.
A single isolated particle would have some degree of consciousness (or awareness of the environment). However, low-energy and low-frequency elementary particles (as described currently in the physicists’ “Standard Model”) easily lose their property of consciousness when they become entangled with other particles and decoherence sets-in. This state is analogous to the state of a demagnetized metal object. Although all the individual atoms are in a sense magnets, no magnetic fields are observed. However, once the atoms in the metal object become aligned with their north and south poles pointing in the same direction they begin to exhibit the property of magnetism.
In the same way, when groups of particles are in the same quantum state, i.e. when they are in a state of quantum coherence, the property of consciousness is exhibited. A state of an extremely low degree of consciousness (for practical purposes – no consciousness) is exhibited by inanimate matter at macroscopic scales in our highly decoherent low-energy classical universe.
Hence, elementary particles will exhibit their intrinsic degree of consciousness when isolated or when a group of particles share the same quantum state. This means that bulk matter in a non-coherent state is effectively unconscious. The study of conscious particles is referred to as “quantum metaphysics” by this author.
Particle Memory
In 1959, physicist Richard Feynman pointed out that all the words written throughout the history of the world could be contained in a cube of material one tenth of a millimeter wide – provided those words were written with atoms. Now, scientists have done just that, creating an atomic-scale memory by using atoms of silicon in place of the 1s and 0s that computers use to store data. Scientists at the University of Wisconsin at Madison have been able to read and write at room temperature to a memory unit that uses a single atom to store a bit. The memory density of this memory unit is comparable to the way nature stores data in DNA molecules.
How much information can an atom store? Scientists have written the word “OPTICS” on a single atom, demonstrating the huge information capacity that exists even in an individual hydrogen atom. This was done by sending one of its electrons into a “Rydberg state”, in which it no longer exists as a cloud of charge enshrouding the nucleus but instead becomes a ‘wave packet’ that circles the atomic nucleus like a planet around the Sun. By applying a series of pulses a set of wave packets can be created that combine with each other like water waves and cancel each other out at specific places to form patterns around the atom. Carlos Stroud of the University of Rochester and Michael Noel of the University of Virginia point out that an electron in an n=50 Rydberg state has 2,500 possible states of angular momentum which can be combined in various ways - evidencing the enormous potential for even elementary particles to store and transport vast amounts of information.
Can a person’s memory with all its visual, audio, tactile and other information be conveyed in a wave-particle? It is remarkable that however complicated a wave, it can be described as a combination of many simple sine waves of various frequencies and amplitudes. This is how an entire orchestra can be heard from the single vibrating cone of a loud speaker. When switched on and off at irregular intervals, or modulated in intensity or in frequency, waves can carry a large amount of information. The higher the frequency the greater the amount of information the wave may encode. Storing memory in wave interference patterns is remarkably efficient, and would be able to accommodate the vastness of human memory. For example, holographic encoding of wave-interference patterns would enable all of the books in the US Library of Congress to fit onto a large sugar cube
The Physical-Etheric Nucleus
Each subtle body has a nucleus – which metaphysicists Charles Leadbeater and Annie Besant have called a “permanent particle”. Leadbeater calls the nucleus of the higher etheric double a “physical-etheric atom”. According to Leadbeater and Besant, information about the relevant subtle body is stored in this particle (its composition, frequency, structure and associative memories). In this way the experiences that the subtle body has gone through in a particular universe are stored or are linked to this nucleus - which can be transferred more easily to another universe and body through microscopic wormholes.
The particle is analogous to DNA in the biomolecular body. DNA is referred to as a “bioparticle” in the medical literature and it stores or links vast amounts of information about a particular life-form. Hindu metaphysics describes these particles or nuclei as “bindus” and Tibetan yoga “drops”.
The physical-etheric nucleus is transferred to higher energy bodies when the subtle body dies – serving the same purposes as a “black box” flight recorder in an airplane in preserving information about a particular life’s experiences. This nucleus is also responsible for the life review in a near-death experience. According to Besant, the permanent particles are used to preserve within themselves as “powers of vibrations” (i.e. different frequencies and waveforms) the results of all experiences through which they have passed. By the end of one life in the physical body, the permanent particle (or physical-etheric nucleus) would have stored up “innumerable powers of vibration” (i.e. a set of waveforms of different frequencies).
A personality is simply a “packet of self-organized information”. If this information can be transferred from one body to another that personality “lives” on. Information stored in the physical-etheric nucleus allows the personality and its associated physical-etheric body to be “reconstructed” or “resurrected” in a similar physical-etheric body later - in a process analogous to a teleportation. According to plasma metaphysics, the physical-etheric body provides an electromagnetic matrix which plays a critical role in the morphogenesis of the physical-biomolecular body. This provides a basis for reincarnation or a resurrection (depending on which religion interprets it).
The physical-etheric nucleus enables the transfer of information from one body (in one universe) to another body (in another or the same universe) during the (physical) death process. If not for this transfer, the experiences in the physical (3d) universe may be difficult to access or reconstruct at a later date. The information about our self has to be “uploaded” to another “player” (i.e. a body) to continue our personal existence. The advances in Science suggest that the nuclei of the various subtle bodies can carry a large volume of complex holographic information about their corresponding bodies and experiences.
Conscious Fields
According to quantum electrodynamics, particles are basically excitations in a field. Hence, all particles have fields associated with them and all fields have particles associated with them. Fields associated with (conscious) super particles would exhibit consciousness and intelligent behavior. Conscious fields would not have any form – in the way that a physical, tangible object has.
Conscious Waves
As quantum physics has shown, elementary particles also behave as waves - depending on the experimental set-up. Bose-Einstein condensates can behave as super particles – and therefore also as waves. If a gas is cooled to a few millionth of a degree above absolute zero, the atoms lose their identity as individual particles (analogous to what happens in a plasma) and behave as a single entity, a kind of “super atom” with characteristics similar to a laser. They then take on the weirdness of quantum objects – including wave-particle duality and the ability to quantum-tunnel out from one place to another. Conscious particles can therefore also propagate as waves.

China is one of the fastest developing countries in the world. It boasts a population of over 1.3 billion, and twenty one percent within that number are children (Central Intelligence Agency [CIA], 2006). They witness disease, death, poverty, and much more on a daily basis. With such a large percentage of the children in the world coming from China, people need to take the time to learn about their education, health care, family life, and other culture issues they face on a daily basis.
The health care involving the children in China continues to improve with each year. The annual number of births in 2004 was 17,372 and the number of children under the age of five that died was 539 in 2004 (United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund [UNICEF], 2006). “While child mortality rates in developed coastal areas approach those of industrialized countries, in most Western provinces they are 3-5 times higher” (UNICEF). Pneumonia, asphyxia, premature birth, and low birth weight are cited as the main causes of neonatal deaths in China (UNICEF). The main cause of death in children ages one to fourteen is injury (UNICEF). One of the positive additions to the lower number of child deaths is the increase in the number of women that are choosing to breastfeed their babies. Breastfeeding goes hand in hand with the nutritional status of the children in China. The nutrition of the children has greatly improved with more mothers now breastfeeding and with supplementary food being introduced. Overall, today it is extremely rare to come across large cases of malnutrition.
A child’s education is a very important aspect of the Chinese culture. “Since the early 20th century, mathematics and natural sciences have been considered to be the most prestigious academic subjects” (Tsui, 2005). Because of the emphasis put on school, children are instilled with the drive to study and work hard. “Parents encourage children to work hard by bragging and expressing their anxiety about their children’s school rank to neighbors and colleagues, often in front of their children” (Tsui). In most Chinese cities, the students’ examination grades are put in order from best to worst and made known to everyone (Tsui). The ranking system puts a lot of pressure on students to excel in their classes in order to earn a higher ranking with the next exam. The teachers use public correction and criticism as a means of correcting a child in the classroom (Vaughan, 1993). Teachers believe that using these methods “will help the child work harder so as to avoid future mistakes” (Vaughan). The public reprimand is often referred to as a “loss of face”. “The importance of ‘face’ has a long history in Chinese culture…it is a reflection upon the whole family” (Vaughan). If the child performed poorly, then it was seen as the responsibility of the parents or other family members that the child lived with at the time.

Some would agree that the success and failure rate when applying for college scholarship are dependent whether the applicant has sought for college scholarship services. However, there is an evident fact that the success and failure of the college scholarship application are solely relying on the application alone. But the problem lies here. Since, most applicants have difficulties searching for the type of scholarships that are right for them, what would you expect from them if the time comes when they would have to complete the application form, write a scholarship essay, and ask someone for write then a letter of recommendation?
Yes, reality bites. Many applicants for college scholarships cannot construct an acceptable paragraph (this is not to say that everyone cannot write a good scholarship essay). So, they seek for college scholarship services. Now we go on circles.
If the applicant is the one responsible with his fate whether he or she passes the scholarship application, then why do they still have to seek for college scholarship services?
The answer is simple: Applicants are either scared to do it on their own or are smart enough to realize that they need help.
While these two reasons may be acceptable, applicants should remember that it is their future that is in line here. And with a simple mistake could mean no college education.
To end this, there are things the college scholarship applicants should do:
If the applicant knows how to do it on his or her own, then it is useless to seek for college scholarship service.
Applicants should do their own way of searching and applying for college scholarships. If it happens that the applicants do not know what to do, reading relevant information on the internet would be a great help.
The applicant should do research and not to solely rely on the things college scholarship services promise to do.
Be wary on the promises of college scholarship services. Surely, they would charge applicants with fees. And if you are hoping that once you pay them, you can get an instant scholarship, you can be mistaken. Remember that guaranteed scholarships do not exist. College scholarship services can increase your chances in winning a scholarship but it is never an assurance that once you pay them, you can get one right at your very eyes.
To make things clear try to contemplate on this: If you want things to come up with the way you expected it to become, then you have to do it your way.

Do you believe that you’re stuck working a dead-end job? You’re unable to advance because you’re lacking a formal education. The 40 hour plus weeks come and go, and the financial requirements of a family make it more or less impossible to attend college. How ever many find that a distance learning business degree allows them to achieve more success.
Many distance learning programs provide financial aid for those students that qualify. This reduces the stressor of having to come up with the money to pay for a degree when you’re ready to take the plunge. Most online colleges which are accredited by the regional accreditation agency offer the same resources as a traditional brick and mortar college.
Distance learning programs are developed with the individual who doesn’t have time to attend regular classroom studies. The majority of programs offer the same classes as brick and mortar schools, and provide ample interaction with online instructors when working through a distance learning business degree. The biggest benefits of these programs are the ability to work at your speed, continuing to work at your current job, and still having time with your family and friends all while working towards graduating with a distance learning business degree.
Classroom Tools Part Of Tuition Cost
It’s just a fact of the program that most business degrees require certain classroom tools. The majority of accredited institutions provide these tools as part of the class, and generally the cost is included in your tuition. A few schools may require you to purchase these tools locally, or provide access to another school close by.
If you’re an entrepreneur and dream of owning and operating your own business there may be some skills that you’re lacking. While knowing everything about the service or product you want to work with is required, it’s also important that you posses some basic business skills. Generally investors in new companies like to know that the person operating the business has the necessary skills to handle all aspects of the business.
Now investors aren’t the only benefit you might gain from earning an distance learning business degree. Knowing what to do in particular situations, and being able to grow your business with the skills learned are direct benefits you’ll experience.
It’s a must that you have the drive and self discipline to work on your own time, and do the required studying. Without having a classroom to attend you’re one hundred percent responsible for completing your classes and those assignments and tests that go along with them. The reward is well worth the work when you graduate from an online learning program, the first step is requesting information today from a school. Get started today.

Kind of a funny title from the CEO of an eLearning company but I know what I’m talking about. As proof, we delivered our first eLearning product in 1989. It was a CBT for learning Digital Equipment Corporation’s VAX/VMS operating system. It ran under DOS. In 1995, we delivered our first computer-based course builder and tracking system called Design-a-Course. Twelve years later we are still at it with our current offering of the same name, albeit completely rewritten and built for the web. So, I have been in this business as long as anyone and seen just about every type of eLearning customer.
There have been way too many customers who have purchased an eLearning system from our company to train a group of people who either:
A. Never get around to around to creating the courses. Or,
B. Never get their people to take the courses.
I’m not sure which is harder to believe. Why plunk down good money if you are not going to use the system? I’ll tell you why. It’s the same reason you don’t see training in a lot of categories for, “business type” when you fill out a background sheet for a news or magazine subscription. Training and/or eLearning still doesn’t have the importance it should. Training is always a good thought until something else “more important” bubbles to the top. “I got pulled off the new eLearning course rollout for something really important” is something we’ve frequently heard. I guess training and testing your computer operators to make sure they are doing the nightly backups correctly, which holds all your customer data, isn’t all that important.
It is easy to show someone all the research data about how successful companies are the companies that invest in their employees’ education. And they may appreciate it and buy the training product or service. But too often, after the excitement of the new purchase, the priorities shift. .
For the determined, cost conscious, and downright responsible users that actually develop and roll out their eLearning courses but never get anyone to take them, theirs is probably a bigger mistake. They spent the company’s money and used company resources to develop the courses. I have asked customers, “How has the reception been to your new eLearning courses?” I have gotten answers like:
- I don’t know, I haven’t checked.
- Not everyone has gone through them.
- Not everyone finishes them.
This problem of people not using what they paid for and created does not bode well for the eLearning industry. So, whose fault is it? The students will tell you the courses were not good or not stimulating enough so they lost interest. That could be true. Creating a good, engaging course is a skill. And unfortunately not all companies have instructional designers and great graphics people within their organization. Most organizations just have a need to transfer knowledge to the employees on information critical to their company and job function.
Like all other business issues that affect the employee, it comes down to management. Sorry bosses. Learning in your organization, eLearning or any type, is your responsibility. It is part of your job to make sure your staff goes through the courses you took the time to put together. It has to be a job-mandated requirement from the top down. Not completing or not passing the provided courseware should affect the performance review, which should affect the salary. Sounds harsh I know. But your company is only as good as the knowledge you have inside it. Training needs to be mandated and tracked.
So, if you have purchased an eLearning system and never used it, blame yourself.
If you purchased an eLearning system, created the courses, deployed them and your students never used it, blame yourself again. Until learning during the normal course of the business day becomes as fully integrated as checking email in the morning, the growth and, more importantly, the positive and profitable effect eLearning can have on your company will be limited. Worse yet, the potential for a better-equipped, more effective workforce will not be realized.
Louis Bernstein has been the CEO of MindIQ, since 1986. Mr. Bernstein brought to market their first eLearning product, The Personal Traininer, in 1989. The current eLearning system offered by MindIQ was first introduced in 1995 and has undergone several versions. Mr. Bernstein is a recognized speaker on eLearning and sales training. He holds a BA in Psychology from Southern Illinois University.

The transition from undergraduate to graduate student can be an enormous one. Many things change during the transition that pretty much entirely change you life. There are things that you should know about before you enter graduate school, so that you will be prepared to deal with them. Once you deal with them, them you will be able to become adjusted to graduate school and the newness that it brings.
Have Confidence in Yourself and Your Abilities
Probably the number one thing that you will hear graduate students say is that when they first started their graduate program they started to question whether or not their college had made a mistake by accepting them. They became so overwhelmed by the enormity of their new responsibilities that they started to question their abilities to handle them. It is extremely important to your success that you maintain your confidence. You are good enough and smart enough to be there, and you can handle what graduate school throws your way or you never would have been accepted in the first place.
Tackle Your Adjustment Period
Embrace your new surroundings and your new experiences when you start your graduate program. Instead of focusing on all of the changes as being negative, turn them into a positive light. Find out as much as you can about the community that the college is located in and the student activities that the school has to offer. By planning to participate in a few activities it will be easier to acclimate yourself to your new environment. It will not always be easy to deal with the changes of living in a new city, dealing with a new program, and meeting new people, but it will get easier over time. And the more ways you proactively attack your adjustment period the less ways your adjustment period will have to tackle you!
Time Management
Being a graduate student brings a very overflowing plate of responsibility to your table. The best way to handle all of your responsibilities is to set your priorities from the beginning and then organize your schedule to carry out your responsibilities in order of importance. This will allow you to manage your time by spending more time on the important tasks and less time on the not so important tasks.
Set Specific Goals
Set specific goals to accomplish. Write them down. Don’t just come up with them in your head. After you have your goals established make a step-by-step plan on what you need to do to accomplish your goals. Schedule and manage your time in an efficient manner so that you create opportunities that will allow you to achieve your goals. Almost all graduate students go into graduate school with general goals, but they get so bogged down by their new responsibilities that they don’t really end up accomplishing any of them. By setting specific goals and writing a plan of attack you will find yourself well on the way to success.
Eat Healthy & Take Care of Yourself
Graduate school can take a mental and physical toll on your health if you let it. In order to sustain the long hours and multiple responsibilities it is important that you take care of yourself and your body. Eating healthy food instead of fast food and getting enough rest to relax your mind and body will make your adjustment to graduate much easier than if you are dragging around like a zombie.
While these are a few suggestions on how you can adjust and cope with graduate school, there are many other ways to adjust as well. You have to find the ways that best fit you. By following these suggestions it will help to make your transition from undergrad to grad school a lot easier.

About four years ago, I read an interesting article in a Home Schooling online newsletter. It seems a parent who choose to Home School her kids in Denver CO, area was discussing that one of the reasons was the violence in the schools. She took her kids out of school long before the Columbine Massacre there not more than 25 miles from her home.
One gentleman online stated; “The Liberals have neutered our Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice systems.”
Obviously this statement comes from the perspective of a Christian Home Schooler parent and of course he is speaking to the issues of the concept of nothing being wrong or right, simply perspective based.
Many would agree with him and the lady from the Denver area also, as this could be said to be at least partly true, political correctness, takes away personal responsibilities. It is not Johnny’s fault that he brought a knife to school, because he grew up with a rough childhood. Indeed that is a consideration.
I spoke recently at a High School in TX to a noon-time FBLA Club and they had metal detectors in the school as I went in. Interesting I thought. The kids seemed fine, I did not feel threatened but that reminder of the metal detector made me think about the changes over the past 20 plus years.
I think as a parent I would be concerned indeed. I asked about it and they said that nothing had happened this year only one incident after a football game in the parking lot, but hey its Texas right and you know their football. Apparently a couple of years back there were a string of incidents, gang related there. The teacher-advisor of the club did not go into details, but said the faculty was afraid too, it got that bad.
Yes, you are saying so what, one HS right? Well if you read the local newspapers as you travel the nation, these are not uncommon occurrences anymore; happens all the time. Perhaps one of the very good reasons for home schooling; allowing your child to get on a bus should not have to be a risk.
One bus driver from Little Rock, Arkansas told me that the new seatbelts self-retract, but as they are to protect in an accident and keep kids in their seats, they also are being used as a weapon and used like a sling to hit other kids crossing in the isle.
There will be problems there too. I certainly hope this article is of interest and that is has propelled thought. The goal is simple; to help you in your quest to be the best in 2007. I thank you for reading my many articles on diverse subjects, which interest you.
